Congratulations to PhD3 student Dora Livkisa on publication of her work in Immunity & Ageing. This study looks at circulating extracellular vesicles from young and old mice, and their interactions with macrophages. We started with a fairly simple hypothesis that old mice EVs would be pro-inflammatory and young mice would be anti-inflammatory. However, once the experimental results started coming in, it was not as simple as we expected.
